Bedford CF Military Ambulance.

This was taken some time around 1989-92 at either RAF Leeming or Elvington. Unfortunately I didn't keep any records at the time, so I can't provide more than that.

Hello Chris. This is a Herbert Lomas conversion on an extended wheelbase. I believe the military call this a 'clinic ambulance' as opposed to a 'battlefield ambulance.' Very nice. Wiltshire used the short wheel base version.

I think they were only used by the RAF (maybe the RN, but I'm not sure)

hi nice to see vehicle looking so good. I've got one here reg 91 am 00. It came from RAF Lossiemouth 20 years ago never turned a wheel since !
