Taken at the end of 2011 this shows the last NZ LDV ambulance decommissioned & destriped & awaiting disposal. The red tape is due to the building behind being deemed unsafe following the latest series of earthquakes.

I should have worded this better in that there are other LDVs still in service but that this was the last LDV to be built as an ambulance in NZ.

As LDV no longer exist, I suppose that more will be decommissioned soon due to a lack of spares.
