The Crusader was jointly designed by my father (A Commander in SJA) and Renault to provide a common platform for Emergency/Patient transfer Ambulances, thus reducing cost to SJA. The body is variable depending on the requirement meaning that each SJA Division can tailor the vehicle to their needs.
